Infinite Chaos - replacement player needed!
Prepare for infinite chaos!
OK, so you thought you had researched the super ultimate death ray gun... well think again, now rayguns do half damage! >:-) That's right, in this game, the rules change over time! The game starts as normal unmodded SE4 (other than the FQM quadrant), but after every 10 turns I will tweak the data files!... You might find your weapons cut to half range, or suddenly we're using QNP, or torpedoes become shield piercing, or anything! You'll have to be a master of every strategy because no strategy will Last long in this universe!
Of course I will not play in this game (I think I'll make missiles more powerful ) and the game can't actually be run at PBW (that would require Geo to install a mod that he'd have to change every 10 turns!), so I'll run the turns offline.
Let's have fun out there!
Starting resources: 100000
Starting planets: 3
Home planet value: Good
Score display: Own
Technology level: Low
Racial points: 2000
Quadrant type: FQM Chaotic Region (hehehe )
Quadrant size: Large
Event frequency: High
Event severity: Catastrophic
Technology cost: Medium
Victory conditions: Sole survivor or alliance
Maximum units: Max
Maximum ships: Max
Computer players: None
Computer difficulty: NA
Computer player bonus: NA
Neutral empires: No
Other game settings:
All WP connected, WP anywhere in system
All player planets same size
Players can see complete tech tree
Allow gifts/tributes, tech trades, intel
Disallow surrender
Players can only colonize home planet type

Re: Infinite Chaos - replacement player needed!
I signed up, and I am fairly a noob, when you say only colonize homeworld type, is it the planet type or atmosphere or both? And dont think me being a noob, I will roll over easily, cause I heard a great excuse if I get killed fast, it was the rules that got me killed

Wow, that's quick... hasn't even been 20 minutes and someone signs up! Welcome aboard! Feel free to blame the rules all you want! And about the planet type, that only refers to type (rock/ice/gas), not atmosphere. Good question!

(bump) C'mon, there was at least SOME interest in the thread where I originally proposed this! One player in 20 minutes but no more for four days...

Alright sure, twist my arm! Sounds like fun to me If I lose, I can blame it on my environment. If I win though, it was all skill

(bump)
We're up to 4 players... enough to start a small galaxy game, but anyone else want to join?

Re: Infinite Chaos - replacement player needed!
Getting a little bored of dominating the universe on normal terms? Want an interesting challenge against other human players? Join the game where everything can change. Join Infinite Chaos!
I believe this game will start soon, so come on in and get your Chaos game while its hot?
And to the players who have already signed on for this exciting advanture, I'm back from vacation and I'll be uploading my empire file this evening or tomorrow morning.
Let's have some fun,
Cybersol

Re: Infinite Chaos - replacement player needed!
Hey, just because PBW is down doesn't mean we can't get this game started! Since I'm processing the turns myself and there are only 5 players this shouldn't be much extra trouble for me anyway... now if I could only remember who's actually in this game...

Re: Infinite Chaos - replacement player needed!
*Bump* What is the situation about this game? The idea sounds interesting, leading to really weird games. (My fleet is engaging the enemy and we will win. Oops, we are now using QNP and my ships are featuring a proud 0 movement speed, or 1 for the fastest. )
