I was so bored with no PBW that I decided to put the old Universe Ladder up so that the newcomers could have a look at what once was. And the older members could recall the times gone by. It can be found at www.thermolia.com

I don't think PBW is permanently closed, just awaiting DSL repairs.

At least, it had better NOT be permanently closed...

or else Geoschmo had better put in an application to the Witness Protection Program...

I actually meant the ladder... I read earlier threads on the DSL issues for PBW....

I guess I am not suprised by the ladders fate ... it had alot of controversy at times...

I was just wondering what finally did the Universe Ladder in...I dropped out myself about 2-1/2 yrs ago because it was such an unhappy situation with the flame wars.. Fortunately I was never set on FIRE.. but it got old reading about it...

I actually kind of appreciate losing PBW for a while... sure, it means no SE4 (me no like singleplayer

), but now I have a big school project to work on (which incidentally involves SE4 - meaning I basically stole some graphics from SE4 and music from MOO2 and made a movie out of it

- I wish I could share it with you all but it will probably come out to a ~400 MB Quicktime file

The Universe Ladder was shut down because the flames started up again, and there were extended ping attacks on the server. The people that own the server terminated the Ladder's account...

Of course, when we start it up again, flaming will get you Banned...
