Damn seems the other guy can't even ping my computer so it's not an SE4 problem. Anyone got any ideas of what I've got to do so people can ping my IP?

Your firewall is probably blocking them. You not not have any other option than using the DMZ setting.

Default Yet another TCP/IP Question.

OK So we are trying to get TCP/IP working on 2 computers bothing connection through a router.
We've got the right IP's (as opposed to the 192.168.0.1 the game shows)

It still did not work. As near as I can figure from all the previous threads our problem would be solved by forwarding ports 6716 and 6720.

Has anyone tried this? I like to know if this will work before I start telling my friend to mess around with his router settings.

(I also noticed a suggestion of setting up the computer as a DMZ host. This struck me as a bad idea from a security stand point)
