Quick question about Intel
Ok, here it is. If I complete an Intel project like Counter-Intelligence 2, it says we have completed the project and defended against attacks from Empire X. So do those points continue to be used for defense, or are they gone forever? Thanks.

Re: Quick question about Intel
All remaining points go poof. Don't allow counter-intel to finish, its a waste.

Re: Quick question about Intel
Quite right, PD, counter-intel is counter intuitive.

Re: Quick question about Intel
Doesn't make a lot of sense. That's always how I thought it worked, but still... Anyways, thanks for the help.

Re: Quick question about Intel
Yeah, I agree. Every turn, I have to remember to check if my counter-intel projects are close to completion, and if so, to move it to the end of the queue. Often I forget to do that, and next turn I get the message that the project completed - there goes all those accumulated points, gone!

Re: Quick question about Intel
What the game should do is just max out the CI and leave the points in it.

Well that would certainly work, but the normal solution is to just move it to the end of the queue.
Remember to turn the "divide points equally" off.

Re: Quick question about Intel
Heh, ironically, you would have problems (all CI projects would be full and you would have to check them constantly not to lose points in them) if nobody would try to penetrate your CI
