12 hr game - ok - heres the deal

Kick Ban, well you see he was Banned and now you must Kick him.

I miss tribes kick ban. A player would team kill, poof, kick ban and he was out of there for 999 minutes. Hot damn that was sweet.

i perfer the ones where you just can't damage your teammates.

1: don't have to be as carefull.
2: no penalty's for accidents.
3: people who like shooting there teammates won't come anyway once they figure out that doesn't work.
4: when your not to good at fighting like me, it helps when you can just shoot at anyone who pokes their nose in and then check the color.

You can turn off team damage, and most servers had that turned off. However, the other team would have players swap sides and then destroy our equipment and defenses then swap back. Once that was discovered a kick ban was incorperated for that.

Then they switched tactics and voted to kick off the other teams best players. I don't know how many times I was voted out of a game by my own team mates because someone on the other team called me a team killer and voted to kick me.

After that they just started cheating out right. Then we discovered that the Kindread were using custom coded cheats in the shifter mod and all hell broke loose. When T2 came out many hard core players gave up on T1.

But Kick ban was awsome.

For kikckban, he was in Menace of the drows, but has not been sending turns recently.



As for paranoia2, I also started in a corner. Things don't look very good on that one.

In fact after some nice victories in a few PBW, it seems lots of my games (devnull4, paranoia2, drows) are not going to be as succeful.

I have read Atrocity's policy and do take good notice of it. Next turn will start the political mess. Which is the only thing I am usually good with.

Quick drop in on a rare moment of spare time. Let me help out with what I was doing with the politics.

I hadn't commited to anything with anyone else. Basically with every race I had an agreement that read as this:

Stay out of my space with all of your ships cept single explorers traveling alone and I'll stay out of yours cept with the same. No colonizing in each others claimed systems. Might want to check on that. Two neighboring players had some ships traveling through my space and accidentally colonized once or twice and with a simple request they cleared those out though.

A few players asked for various aid in their conflicts and I said a few niceties and that I would look into it, then looked into it and promptly did nothing.

So you should pretty much have a free reign with no real obligations in the political arena.

I really wish I could have continued this game as I was very much enjoying it. I seems two of the other games I was in ended right after I left and the third will probably do so soon as well but this one was just getting good.

Sometimes RL can really suck. Hope you enjoy it.

PS: Yah I was in on a big colonizing effort when I had to leave. Hope it wasn't too bad getting all the different ones to goto the many different locations.
