As the Earth slows down before reversal, does gravity increase? What direction, or how will water go down a drain? Will the holes in swiss cheese actually become outies. Can we blame Canada?

will we feel a jolt when the earth reverses direction? you know, the sort of jolt you feel when going 20kmh in your car then switching to reverse and flooring it.
