Default 3 small questions

Hi everyone, just a few questions.

I was playing the nature dwellers recently when i realized how many of those barbarian girls you get later on (for free, from the pan's) Now they arent weak or so, but they need quite some food, and late game i got like 30 or so each turn and diseases started spreading everywhere.
Is there any known counter to this ?

I started a new game and choosed growth 3 ! just to get enough food in each province, still i cant stop the diseases, a strong dominion given those girls just POP up everyone, i have to admit i got the big satyr pretender.

As i had a blood/nature pretender i decided to play around with the crossbreeding, its quite good imho. Anyway, does the luck scale REALLY affect this ? In this game i had luck 2 as well, and after a few crossbreed some nice monters showed up, to name just a few, i got several ettins, dracoliches, Chims etc. The problem here was, that it took about 70 small breeds to get one big breed. Now i had about 400 small breeds in my base, and since i didnt had a leader with a leadership > 125 there wasnt really a way to effectivly use them.
Can you in ANY means control the crossbreeding ? Are there even better/more crossbreeds, is the luck/misfortune scale applied ? Whats up with the lvl 8 crossbreeding, do you just get more for less or can you get better breeds ?
I was thinking about a massive crossbreeding-theme ^^ they dont seeem to bad to me, given you get a decent amount (and the leadership...)

Another one, how can you dispell Global Enhancements ? I know you can see them in the labor, but i dont know how to dispell them.

Last but not least, is there ANY way to disband troops without sending them into combat ?

ty, i really appreciate your help here

Build Wine Bags, Summer Swords and Caldrons of Broth. Your Growth Domain (and having mages with Nature Paths) should help, but if you are getting a ton, this should help. Or alternatively, just go kill them off, they are free after all.

No, Luck only gives you better chances at the good ones.

The Enchantment 5 (3 Astral) spell "Dispel" will attempt to dispel Global Enchantments. There is a variable in the number of gems depending on how strong you want the dispel to be.

No there is not. They die the honorable way, as a lance cushion and fodder wall to fatigue the enemy
