my first AAR-ulm

My name is Gartok, I am a cyclops, i rule the ulm with heavy infantry, dark knights and master smiths. We will bend the lands to our iron will. There are many false gods with their fake prophets out there that must be vanquished and slain.

i took 6 earth magic 3 productivity 3 order 1 growth 0 heat 1 luck -3 magic(smiths are immune to this)

i will be playing the aran map with everyone active

i send my scout to look for my foes in this land.

I will be recuriting infantry armed with morning stars and master smiths to research our spell capabilities.

the independent neighbors of ulm

pack woods: 80 troops militias light infantry and archers lead by arnold the priest

cacevic highlands: 40 units of light and heavy infantry and crossbows

nydian range:50 units of militias, archers and light infantry

dural woods:100 units of barbarians

i shall have to brake these provences in half with sheer force...until then my forces gather

i make my commander a prophet and my scout locates the capital of marigon but 3 territories away from our own our forces shall meet early this is a critical battle a long and drawn out process is not needed we shall prepare to crush this foe swift and effectivly with mininal loses.

my prophet has his first battle in the cacevic highlands leading 44 infantry

they face 3 commanders with some militias heavy infantry and crossbows

my prophet keeps morale up and the crossbows are doing my damage in friendly fire than to our troops and their troops run

we suffer 11 casulities but gain much needed revenue and resources

i have my prophet gather some troops and attack nydian range

this battle is only militia and archers who can't pierce our armor we suffer just 3 casualties in this victory and expand our empire a little more

the god of the giants all of his follows have lost faith and will not be a factor the rest of the game

My prophet failed me in an attack on the dural woods while i knew this could be costly i had hoped for a better result he had 58 infantry 57 of which were slain but now the defenders numbers are diminished so we shall conquer it in our next attempt i believe my prophet didn't die but if he fails again he shall wish he had...

i summon some statues and send a smith to aid my prophet and 28 morning stars this time our battle is successfull although the morning stars failed my the tireless statues won the day

ermor has taken control of a provence between myself and marigon this is a fierce enemy who must be delt with and our efforts will be redirected toward this foe.

i decide to call upon the earth elemental kings to come to our aid, i get 2 brothers to summon earth gnomes and earth elementals to bolster our troops while hildegard the herion joins our cause

Abysia has been elminited from the war of accension as well

a golden naga was found in the ermor fortress my prophet although his dark nights died to burden of time 5 smiths lead 65 statues through the gates and into the fortres the undead was defeated and ermor claims the war is not over but they know the end is not far for them
