MP game - Tapyrerz
We've been PMing back and forth about ending this game, so I thought I'd post here so we can all post our comments. Should we end this game since it is going so slow?
As anatoli said, playing one turn a week is a little dull. Personally, I've forgotten what is going on. My situation is not great (it was my first real MP game), so I'm willing to concede.
I had a lot of fun, especially in the beginning, and learned a lot. I hope to play with everyone again.
If everyone want to keep playing, I'll keep playing my turn as well. It's just that with the times between turns so long, the game is not much fun at this point.

Re: MP game - Tapyrerz
yah. i could continue, but i have no great interest. its just warfare micromanagement at the moment for me. Sorry i was a bit overloaded for a couple weeks there.
Anyways, it was originally just a blitz
I think we got our money's worth out of it.
And the "newbies" did well - jeffr you expanded well and put up a good fight, though my endless hordes of flags would probably soon bring you down, esp. w/ tartarians now on their way, and my air queens. and Anatoli did a textbook ermorian strat which was very successful, and then managed to switch over to a gem based underwater/raiding defense which has kept him as a real force. Surignon also was doing well, though since i wasn't fighting him i have less knowledge of his strats and tactics.

I'm willing to concede as well. I think the game has gone through one cycle of building big armies and killing them all, and archaeolept is right, warfare micromanagement will be the next phase.
I had fun and learned alot, but I think its time to let it go...

ehh, lol, no need to concede. the game has run it's course.
and i learned how easy it is for a teleporting giant flaming head to spend half the game drooling feebleminded in a field

Re: MP game - Tapyrerz
Archaeo told me this game is finished?
This was the first game I hosted, so I'd like to know if there were any problems. Turn generation went ok? No corrupted turns etc.?
Anyway, if you need a host for another game, just contact me.
