Default Transportation Spells

I'm trying to sort out all the transportation spells and whether or not they bring troops with them.

Wind Ride -- Friendly or Unfriendly no troops? Bodyguards?
Cloud Trapeze -- Troops?
Teleport?
Gateway?
Others?

Default Re: Transportation Spells

Wind Ride transports commanders who are not Ethereal, do not have more than three picks in Earth, and are not too big and/or do not have too many HPs (this part is the vaguest, but usually commanders with a size higher than 4 also have a lot of hitpoints).

Cloud Trapeze only transports the caster, as Teleport.

Gateway transports a commander and the troops to any friendly province with a lab. Astral Travel does the same, but allows you to teleport to *any* province.

Other spells include Faery Trod (transports an army to any forest province) and a Death spell (Stygian Paths), the least used of all: this spell kills some of your troops, so it should only be used in case of an emergency.

There are also spells used to teleport units away from a battle: Ritual of Returning (transports a wounded commander back to your capital) and Vortex of Returning (transports all the commanders and troops in a battle back to your capital).
