Default OT: Good Shows on TV..

Since seeing how people are a bit upset at how bad 'Enterprise' was I thought it would be nice to talk about some of the 'Good' Shows on TV..

My top Shows are...

1) Sue Thomas FB-Eye (Great Cast, Great Acting, Great Stories)

2) Stargate SG1 (Awesome Cast, Great Stories, forget Atlantis, Keep this going forever.)

3) Smallville (Great Cast, Good solid Acting, Interesting stories)

4) The West Wing (still good but less so since Aaron Sorken left the show's writing and production to 'others'.

5) CSI: NY (Gosh Darn, but Gary is a Great Actor, he almost makes the other actors look bad.)

6) Extreme Makeover Home Edition (wow! and WoW!)

7) Holmes on Homes.

I know it's a short list, but these are the only shows I watch on a regular basis.

So, do I have good taste or what?

Cheers!

I don't even know what some of those are, but I guess a description of my favourite shows would be the only ones I make sure to watch each week.

1. Justice League.
2. Enterprise (we haven't even finished season 3 yet)
3. Lost
4. Harvey Birdman
5. Stargate SG1. As for Atlantis so far we have had the first 2 episodes here and I managed to see another while on holiday. I recorded the first 2 and it took 2 days before I could be bothered watching if that means anything. To go off a bit I can't see the main cast of Atlantis being as good as SG1. For example the black junior officer doesn't seem to have much depth. He seems to just be the same as the black junior helmsman on Enterprise. I can't see any epsiodes being devoted just to him.

These are "technically" on TV Still over here

1. Firefly - Need I Say More.
2. Stargate SG1 - Even with O'Neill possibly leaving it will still be excellent.
3. Farscape (ok, it's re-runs, But it's still good!)
4. 24 (I haven't watched this since the second season as I keep missing chunks of it, hopefully it's still as good as it was.)
5. Sharpe (Ok, technically this is Ancient, But again it's re-runs and I still love this show, I grew up on this.)

Hmm Firefly. I'm not really into space westerns, but I see it is popular enough for them to make a movie (yet at the same time not popular enough to last longer than one season ). I looked at the trailer and it looks better. Two parts in particular, the fleets and the captains response when the other guys says he comes unarmed

Edit: sorry to seemingly make this all about firefly, but I'm pedantic as all hell and couldn't get past the opening bit about mankind finding a system with hundreds of planets. yeah ok so I know they must mean sector or region but every time I hear it I think "gee some aliens must have been heavily into terraforming to place hundreds of planets in the one solar system "

1. JAG
2. West Wing
3. House
4. Corner Gas

And that's about all I watch. The order is arbitrary; if they were all on at the same time I would have to clone myself

If you've never seen Corner Gas, you're missing something!

Well actually I do watch Holmes on Homes now and then. I'm in construction too and talk just like him!

1. Stargate SG-1. Simply the best Sci-Fi show on TV.
2. Battlestar Galactica. Looks to me like it has great potential, and I already enjoy it a lot.
3. CSI (The original, Las Vegas one)
4. ER. Good show, like it a lot.

Those are about it for shows I watch and enjoy regularly.

In no particular order:
  • Lost
  • Law and Order
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer(it was a good clever show, had humor, horror, action, and drama)
  • King of the Hill(one big Texas in joke)
  • Most of the stuff on the cartoon network after 10:00 Central, the whole damn AS block kicks ***.
  • Conan O'Brien
  • Scrubs(this is the funniest show on TV, it's better then friends ever was)
  • farscape, no longer shown even on reruns here but kicked ***

That's all I can think of at the moment, but that seems like just about everything..... Oh yeah, Cops and America's Most Wanted, both those shows kick ***.

I just thought of two other shows I enjoy watching.. Numbers and NICS.

.. and I'm talking about shows that are on now, not stuff playing in reruns.

Cheers!
