Re: faerun
Oy! Language! Tsk tsk. And I hired no-one Aku, my pet. Manuk was inspired by the courage and honour of the Jotun race in their struggle against a vicious and unwarranted assault by the evil, and largely incompetant ( ) forces of Tien Chi and Abysia.
I beleive that soon all nearby nations will rally to the banner of righteousness and victory over opression, reducing Abysia and TC to a pile of smoking embers!
As for balance issues... I have opinions, and I'll express them when the game is done. Now lets not have such unpleasant outbursts, please. It cheapens us all.

Re: faerun
Aku,
Oh my you are so tough. I'm quaking.
Abysia is the reason I did not play this game. One test game was enough to show me that the nation is totally buffed by the mod.
And considering what I have seen of your personality I am quite pleased that I am not playing. You are quite the ... ahem ... must be nice ... character.

Request for Time
Think Pasha is due back today, but with some big critical battles happening next turn, I'd like to request that the clock be pushed back a bit just to ensure he can take it, as I just don't have the time to do it justice.

Huzurdaddi.
Would you please stop posting in this thread. The game is tonz of fun. Your mean-hearted insults are effective at getting Aku's goat. Hope your happy, now go away so we can enjoy taunting each other in peace.

Re: Request for Time
The everwise and traveller god of Man, Malkutt has spoken an inspiring message of concern of the crimes done by strang people hardened by fire whos origin its unknown to us.
The murdering they do has a reason, they sacrifice innocent to a bloodthirsty god, and most of the people of man disaprove that behavior. This is to summon devils like born the most fearsome dreams. Every soldier has now a crusade:
Stop the world from being flooded by inhuman creatures.
No matter what the perils are, the gentle giants of the north must be saved from extintion. And the word of truth must be spoken by our divinity.

Re: Request for Time
I have returned from a very relaxing time on a lake here in the beautiful State of Maine! I will play my turn soon, and I promise to crank up the trash talk for CUnknown. I better hurry up... I dare say that Arco will soon be squished by the evil yoke of C'Tis! (Bad, Rev. Zombie... bad! Just because I attacked you without provocation does not mean that you should squish me with such cold-hearted abandon!)
Thanks to Cainehill for filling in for me while I was away!

I believe the maxim goes: "never trust Arcoscephalens predicting yoke-squishing by C'tis..."

Unit max
I know I'm not hosting this game and I have no business setting rules or anything... but...
I hear that the game has a unit max of 30,000. I hope that people will take this into consideration and not go too crazy on units so we never hit that max. I'd do my best to limit myself to under 3,000 units, at least until there's only like 6 people left or something. If you are playing one of those powers who gets tons of free units and can't help yourself, I'd say a limit of 5,000. That should be the absolute max until people start getting eliminated, I think.
Obviously, I have no authority to make rules. I think this is a good common-sense measure that we can all self-moderate on, though. We don't want the game to break!
If we do hit the unit max, I'm sure most people would just quit, right? I think we should do everything in our power to avoid hitting that max.
Not that I'm anything even remotely close to 3,000 units, I'm just saying.
