Re: What Is The Status Of The Star Wars Mod?
There is a whole ion weapon tech-tree, But indeed NO special rebel mount or something.
But, I played the game several times now, and it's possible to cripple an SD with the Ion's already in the mod. Also is it possible to destroy an SD with an group of fighters (with proton torpedos) if placed on the other side of an WP.
As I said before, the game is (mostly) balanced. But you need to play the Rebels as Rebels (hide, hit & run, hide again) until you can bring enough of your big ships to arms.

Remember besides hit and runs you can do sucidal runs ram the ship, should be a nice light show even if it doesnt destroy the enemy.

Intimidator, I'll have you know that your mod ate 1.3 gigabytes of SEnet's bandwidth during the month of July.

Yes, here we are ...
One question: will there ever be a single player version? I would love to play it!

okay , like to hear that.
I'm back now from a much needed vacation, so will be working on the mod again and hopefully have an more final version ready in a few days.
And to you SEIK, I want to try it but never did it before, so be patient. first I will finnish the MP-version for PBW. And I will start working on an SP-version.
But as I said, never did it before and it could become a real PITA

Glad to hear that you plan a SP-version (after completing the MP-version).
One question:
Is it feasible/useable to play it with only two players (Rebels vs. The Empire)?

Yes, That is possible , just use all the rebel-traits when making your empire (alliance / Calamari /Bothan).
But I tried to ballance the mod a bit, so it would be very easy for the empire when the Rebel are starting with only 1 planet....... They really need 2 against 1 imperial starting planet.

Re: What Is The Status Of The Star Wars Mod?
That sounds good!
But how to setup the game (Empire 1 planet & Rebels 2 planets)?
