Shrapnel Games Presents A September To Remember!
News Release
For Immediate Release
Shrapnel Games Presents A September To Remember!
Thirty Days Of Contest!
Hampstead, NC, 01 September 2005
Let's face it, 2005 has not been the most memorable of years so far for most folks and things could be better. And while we can't do anything like make your car get 250 miles to the gallon, here at Shrapnel Games we hope to make your September a little more pleasant in other ways, such as giving you the chance to win some nifty prizes all month long!. That's right, prizes!!! Woo hoo!!
Shrapnel Games, in conjunction with our contest partners The Adrenaline Vault, Armchair General, Gamershell, Gamezilla, and Myth Games, would like to announce that beginning September 1st, and running through September 30th, Shrapnel Games will be running a contest of nearly epic proportions! A contest so big that calling it a mere contest is a disservice! This is a contest that defies that English language, one that ruptures the very time-space continuum of our universe and gives birth to its own name! This is.
The Shrapnel Games Prizapalooza!!!
Entering the Prizapalooza is so easy even your grandmother, who thinks all you use your computer for is looking at porn, could enter. Enter from the comfort of your own home, sitting in your own chair, eating your own pizza and drinking your own cold beverage of choice. It's that simple!
Here's how it works. First, you'll want to head over to the contest page, which is located here: http://www.shrapnelgames.com/prizapalooza.asp
Every day in the month of September we'll hide an image from one of two upcoming games, either Weird Worlds: Return To Infinite Space or Land of Legends (which just recently went gold). An image of what you need to find for the day will be posted on the contest page. The image will then be hidden someplace on the Shrapnel Games website ( www.shrapnelgames.com), the Shrapnel Community site ( http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/threads/ubbthreads.php), or the Gamers Front ( www.gamersfront.com). Get all CSI on the sites and locate the image for the day and then proceed back to the contest page to enter your information and the location of the image for the day.
Each day one lucky winner will be chosen from the correct entries and that person will receive the daily prize! The prizes will vary, ranging from merchandise to games to discount coupons for your next order. It's always changing, and always cool. You may only win one daily prize for the month, and it goes without saying that Shrapnel Games' employees, developers, and their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Likewise no purchase is necessary, and all that other legal mumbo-jumbo that goes with contests.
At the end of September all daily winners will be entered into a drawing for a grand prize, although what the grand prize is will be hush-hush until the end of the month. Enter and find out! As they say in Japan, perhaps a winner is you!

Re: Winners!
I finally figured out how to fill out the entry form. The 'field' labels were all black to me until I moused over them and highlighted. And I got my t-shirt I was after
But..it's Gene Anglen, not Greg.
Now if I could get Richard and Tim to autograph it, maybe when they become famous, I can sell it on ebay and make enough money to retire
