Default Q. about magic site - Flesh Eater\'s Isle

It says that Unholy priests can recruit ghouls here.

I have my priest enter the site. But ghouls do not appear in the recruiting window?

Any ideas?

Some sites allow you to recruit units; others allow your mages to summon units. I gather this site falls under the second category, so your mage will summon one Ghoul per turn spent with "Enter Site" orders.

Actually, in this case it's five ghouls per turn.

You don't need wish, there are several other nations with unholy, and summons.

*C'tis desert tombs has national unholy priest summon spells.

*So does Carrion Woods Pangaea.

*Almost any nation can get to Mound Fiends, which have unholy.

*One of the Ice Devils has unholy magic.

BF Ulm also has a hero (the Ghoul Baron) with unholy powers. U1, I think it was.

I've never seen the ghoul Baron, but Mictlan as well has an Unholy Hero - Mictlipotli, the king of legends: 3D3B3U

With BF Ulm, getting heroes is always dicey because of the misfortune, and the one you really want especially early on anyway is Burkhard, the vampire hero. It doesn't get much better than when on turn 2 this guy shows up and you can just toos him at indies. A full vampire lord minus the magics, but equipped with full plate mail, great sword and all the vamp immunities and other abilities, he eats armies for breakfast.

The Ghoul Baron is the most useless of them all, mapmove of just 1 and all he can do is reanimate ghouls. I had occasion to dig this guy up via scripting when I did the Unit DB.

Mictllipoctli, now there's a hero with altogether a lot more usefulness...

Just as an addendum, ToughGuy, the situation you describe above will never happen. The only way a unit will appear in the recruitment screen is when you find a new magic site that allows recruitment of that unit. Sites which state "have a mage enter to get unit X" only mean that when your mage enters that site, the unit in question is automatically summoned - check your army screen for the new ghouls, not the recruitment screen.
