Tien Chi - why no \"immortal\" pretender?
I mean with liches and the such seeking godhood after becomming immortal, it would almost make perfect sense that one of the tien chi immortals would seek it as well. |

 | Liches are, above all, ambitious. T'ien Chi's heroes are... heroic. In different ways, none of which lend themselves to the kind of godhood to which a pretender aspires. Plus, they've got too much of that whole inner harmony thing going to aspire to be any more than they are. With the exception of the Master of the Iron crutch. I could totally see him replacing Kurgi by Dom III.

Edit: A typo?! Truly, I have learnt nothing. I hang my head in shame. |

And TC already has some Liches. Okay, weaker Liches, but Liches regardless. They also have the cute Vampire Queen, and the ole Phoenix. |

 yeah, but no just "immortal"
It would be nice I think to mod away one of the current immortal pretenders for one that matches the theme better.

 | The phoenix fits in pretty nicely with the theme. It's awfully cute, too. In my mind's eye, all the Banknotes of the Realm have that thing's face printed on them. You can't stay mad at that, even if it did just kill your prophet and seize your Steel Ovens. |

 Oh, by the way...
It seems that playing without Order and Productivity is usually a suicide.
Order reduces chance of random events.
Tien Chi has very cool national heroes.

Is this possible to play Tien Chi _effectively_ and still be able to get one of national heroes ?

Heroes aren't affected by order or turmoil, IIRC. |

 | But when a hero appears at your gate, it's a random event, right ? So it's probably much harder to get a national hero if you take Order scale.

Re: Tien Chi - why no \"immortal\" pretender?
Chance to get an hero is a straight formula linked to Luck/Misfortune. You have a 6% chance per turn of getting a hero with Luck 3, 1% with Misfortune 2, and 0% with Misfortune 3.
While Order is very common in Dominions, Productivity is a lot rarer, especially when playing without scale mods. Since national units are often not the core of an army, a lower amount of resources does not usually hurt so much (and Productivity only has a slight impact on gold production now).
