I came across something. I played Rhodesia v Mozambique 1976 and I noticed very low hit %'s for the Rhodesians. My units were defending so I wasn't moving around alot, but in watching the hit %'s they were usually under 10%. This was at all ranges, except 50 meters. I have always read that the Rhodies had some of the best light infantry in the world so why the low %'s? I rarely play before the 2000's so maybe it is a technology issue. Is maybe the Rhodesian training set the same as Zimbabwe? or maybe something else.
I was using Selous Scouts, RLI and SAS, so I was surprised with the lack of hitting.... I have country training on which is why I thought maybe Zimbabwean training had "leaked" over...
BTW How do you set units for Elite, Veteran, etc in a Battle?
Visibility was 36 and it was junglely so not too dusty.... I have replicated it 3 diiferent times now. It just seems wierd since I had read how awesome the Rhodies were...
That's odd. I've never had the Rhodies have too much trouble hitting the target. It's difficult on the run of course, but they do well when stationary.
