Re: Dominions
I'm afraid I'll have to step in, if you mean harm to Pasha. I simply cannot let random people give him a sound spanking, you understand. Nah, I'm first in line for that "let's beat that Pasha guy around". Once I'm done, sure, he's all yours.
Count me in for that "should I stay or should I go" feeling, though... Well, we'll see how that comes out.

Re: Dominions
Okay.
Tell me how it plays out Alneyan! I'll jump on board after some people play a full EPIC game. And have good things to say about it.

I do seem to recall that I've won 100% of our duel games, actually. Was that blood self-maiming or some such? Just wondering.
Okay, so that's 100% of one game, and I've lost all my other duels, except one against Deccan (where I happened to get lucky). I guess I ought to thank you then.
YellowCactus, I really am on the fence myself. I might pick up Dom III for the odd game every now and then, but I'm kind of waiting for some PBEM action. Then again, I don't have any excuse not to host my own PBEM, as I have some ugly Python scripts to cut out my work.

Re: Dominions
Welcome back YC! I remember some fun games with you consistently eating up my empires (I was using my old nick then - izaqyos)

Would that ugly python script might, by any chance, be the script I'd written for hosting dom-II?- If not you might want to take a look at it, as it can be a real time saver for PBEM hosting.

Re: Dominions
Nah, that would be my very own ugly script doing very much the same thing. Hey, what's worse than an inelegant solution? The same solution that also reinvents the wheel, of course!
(Actually, my script also has a couple features for a "permanent" PBEM server... but I didn't expand on those)

Re: Dominions
hehe we both invented solution to the same problem.
My model is packed with features, it automatically d/l turns, verifies them, creates a backup and sends the new turn to players oh and ABS, 4x drive and AC as well
Seriously though, I intend to add a GUI and release it as a fully blown PBEM manager.
