Re: Note from Illwinter
Better too much interest than the other way around, so long as it's not "bring the torches and pitchforks" interest.

You will see much more positive comments, once the rest of the lads will get their copies. I have some friends waiting to get their copy also.
PS. Doms 3. is excellent, I love it...and the manual is fantastic.

Re: Note from Illwinter
So...
I just realized that you're one of the guys who made Dominions, eh? (ok, I'm a bit slow, and I am only just now reading the manual)
The game rocks. By extension, you rock.
My wife, on the other hand, now wonders what exactly I am doing at the computer at 4 AM on a weekday... And I have totally disrupted our dogs sleeping patterns.
But the game is terribly excellent and addictive (even though I suck at it).
Thanks, a lot.

Hehehe.
I had the same problem with my girlfriend actually. She lives with me already, and sometime she found me playing Doms 2. TCP/IP at 3 AM. She was like "@#%$% #%^%$# #$#$!"

Re: Note from Illwinter
Hehe Dominions is especially evil in this regard because you have such big wait times for the turns of your mates and the turn generating time if you play SP.
So if you do some crap while waiting for the turn to generate this can lead to some "comical" situations if you try to explain that you have to do something while waiting for the turn to generate .

Re: Note from Illwinter
I laughed when I quit a game of GalCiv2 and a little window popped up saying "Quit? A couple more turns couldnt hurt could it?". I thought MAN Im glad that Dominions doesnt have that popup.
Or worse yet, if Dom had one that says "but dont you want to at least check and see if that worked?" which is what really kills me. I start to check, then I make move changes, then I have to finish it and hit turn, then I want to just check it. Dominions is an evil game!
Im glad for hosting times. If it wasnt for that my pets would starve, my family would leave me, and my bladder would explode.
