Apparently we of Argatha have overly anxious personalities. We found the 500 illithids and mad dreamers and ghost king on our border to be rather alarming.
The attack was not a sneak attack. Elephants do not "sneak". It was an unprovoked attack.
Given that it's that time of year again, when the universe updates the score in the great game of life, we presumed to assume that, presumably, we were about to be attacked anyway.
In summary, R'lyeh bad, Agartha good. I hope that clears everything up.

Re: Turn 14
The illithids were just passing through, the dreamers were about to be ferried away to do battle with independent forces and the ghost king was searching for magic sites (Which he found, as you can see from the gem graph). Until this vile act of Agarthan aggression, that is.
Furthermore, I daresay any open act of aggression not preceded by a formal declaration of war is to be regarded as a sneak attack.
You were in no danger of being invaded. You had no reason to fret on behalf of your precious "victory point" given the great big fort you'd built on it.
And yet, you attacked.
R'lyeh, on the other hand, has taken no hostile measures against any nation and has tried its best to maintain friendly relations with all the peoples of the world.
I must say, as primitive as your Agarthan minds are, your twisted logic is entirely beyond our comprehension.

Re: Patch
Ugh! I discovered that my backups of turns was misprogrammed, although I have fixed it.
However, this means that all players must play Turn 16 WITHOUT the patch. I will then patch the game and host on Sunday. After you play Turn 16 without the patch, you are then free to patch to 3.1.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

Well, you certainly upped your PD at an opportune time, Bird! And here I thought I'd teach you the hard way to put that 1 point always no matter what...
