Mod: The Death Formerly Known as Prince
Yet another simple mod. Since my modification of the Freak Lord pretender was well-received I gave the same treatment to a much more popular figure among the divines: the Prince of Death. Check it out!
I may end up compiling these few pretender mods I've made along with an update of a Dom 2 mod I created called Nova Deus in a single file...

Another beautiful job! The PoD looks really otherworldly; I love it. I hope you do end up releasing a compilation of these! Thanks!

Zepath, if you are going to make more of those simple pretender mods, would it be possibly for you to bundle them in one mod?
Thanks!

You do good!
While I'm loathe to impede your artistic freedom I wondered if you perhaps could improve the looks of The Crone next? A bald figure armed with a poking stick is not exactly how I imagine a pretender god to look like.
I mean.. she doesn't even have a proper pointy black hat. What selfrespecting superpowered hag of doom goes to work without the official pointy black hat?

Re: Mod: The Death Formerly Known as Prince
Ah, I'm glad this one is liked as well.
WraithLord, no problemo. I am preparing a new version of Nova Deus for Dom 3 now and will include all these in one mod along with my Pythian Iconoclasts. Any particular thoughts on pretenders that could really use a pick-me-up?
Wauthan, you don't like the Crone? I always thought there was something mysterious and frightening about a nation's god being a crippled old hag with only a few twisted bristles left on her head. Shouldn't be a hard one to revamp though and I admit it would be cool to have her look like the Wicked Witch of the West!

Come to think of it, I think the only one that actually has one of those hats is a Hoburg spellcaster.

Re: Mod: The Death Formerly Known as Prince
The human pretenders could all use some added personality.
Also the oracle and blood fountain.
Oh, so you made the Nova Deus mod, I really liked that one for dom-II.
With you and Amos crunching great mods, I'm hard pressed to keep up with the good stuff :-)

Not to mention, we _really_ need a new earth mother that doesn't cause nightmares - the current one has always looked like a 350 pound floridian in a t-back who's been rolling in mud. Ewww.

Actually, it looks like pretty much all better-known prehistoric statues of women. See http://images.google.com/images?q=venus+prehistoric

Re: Mod: The Death Formerly Known as Prince
The Earth Mother is one of the most unique pretender concepts that exists in this game. Anyone who touches the Earth Biatch should get frozen, then uppercutted, and then have their head ripped off with the entire spine still attached.
