I really wished someone had pmed me or something about the port change. I checked this game like every day trying to connect.
I am in several games and many of them were offline for several weeks over the holidays. was very surprised to learn that the port was changed in this game wiht no email or pm notification.
I staled two turns. Seems a bit of a disadvantage.

Within a few hours of the port changing the first post on this thread was updated. Every game I am playing in simply has the first post updated when things change. Not in any of the games am I playing have I received a PM in such cases. If it was easy enough to come on and post to complain, surely it would have been even easier to come on and check the thread when you had problems?
It is asking a bit much expecting someone to PM 21 people, when those 21 people could each make minimal individual efforts to check the thread.
Anyway 5 people seem to have staled last turn and several of the same players seem like they might stale this turn. I think the technical issues and holidays killed the game for a few.
