I'd like to play, I'm very new, and any nation is fine. I haven't played a PBEM before! I'm really interested in getting in on some multiplayer.

Glad to have you. FYI though this is a TCP/IP game where you have to connect at the minimum of every 48 hours to do your turns (the server will always be on) - not technically PBEM.
Of course the speed of the game is comparable to most PBEM games out there  |

I appreciate the heads up. I'm extremely computer literate, I'm getting a computer science degree in Information Systems and I build them all the time. Keeping up shouldn't be an issue.
What does quickplay mean exactly? I'd hazard to guess that it means that if everyone has finished their turn ahead of time, it begins the next turn right away.
