Mac update- when?
Hi, this is my first post- Just like to say that WW is awesome and responsible for many a wasted hour- my only gripe is the lack of a mac updater- especially as this seems to be the cause of many crashed mods ( the mods that do work are fantastic, by the way- keep up the good work guys!)
Digital Eel's website doesn't seem to have any contact info- so here is my appeal to the powers that be- when can we expect an update?

Re: Mac update- when?
Last I heard was that they were having some sound issues with the Mac update.
I suppose when it's ready, we'll find out about it.
I'm itching to play some of the newer mods, not to mention see the changes in the vanilla version.
Good things come to those who wait - hopefully . . .

Re: Mac update- when?
I agree. Eagerly waiting for the Mac update. Can't play the Babylon Project mod until I get the update.
Thanks, Hal

Re: Mac update- when?
I'm waiting for the Mac update to play with new carriers and, in particular, the Babylon Project... but in the meanwhile, I've found that a little downmodding is sufficient to get subsets of TBP working, so it's not -completely- unavailable to us Mac users

Re: Mac update- when?
Still waiting . . .
Please Digital Eel, at least let us know if the update is ever going to appear on the Mac. We've been patiently waiting for over 3 1/2 months now.
Or have we 'other OS users' been forsaken ;-)

Re: Mac update- when?
I apologize for the delays. The guy who does all of our Mac versions hasn't been able to work on this in the last few months. We may need to find another Mac programmer.

Re: Mac update- when?
Thanks for the reply ;-)
Glad to know that us Mac users haven't been abandoned then.
It's the smaller guys like Digital Eel, Introversion and others who are making the only interesting games at the moment.
Who wants 'yet another' first person shooter/real-time strategy?
Was getting worried that you'd decided the Mac wasn't worth supporting any more.
Thanks again for replying.

Re: Mac update- when?
Just wanted to add my voice here for the Mac update, thanks for the post Fingers - way more information than you'd get from a faceless and unimaginative games 'corp'. Keep up the good work, I have my fingers crossed. If Apple can slip 4 months on Jaguar then I can hold my breath a little longer for the WW update too ;-)
