How about we add this game to the ladder? I know it is a little late now, but nor is the game decided yet.

I think the ladder will be a great opportunity to get an overview of games played once people start using it.

It is just that I would not feel comfortable with adding games without peoples consent.

I will add the game and players now, and people are welcome to come and write a short introduction to them self if they wish.

Shouldn't ladder be something that is part of the games description at the beginning so people can decide if they want to join? I wouldn't have been so experimental in my setup if I had known it was a ladder game.

The ladder is just a measurement on how well people do. It should not be taken to serious. I hope that the ladder will be used in all games so that it is a more accurate measurement.
It is not meant to make people play differently. Also I hope that people will use that Wiki to comment on their games and share their strats.

You hope. But you know that people will start pointing to it and saying "see? Gandolf sucks and Quantum rules!". I think people will want to separate their serious ladder games from their experimental fun games. It is not cool to have your don't give a [censored] game end up on the ladder after the fact.
