Well, can't find a flaw in your logic there, but I will try and play the devils advocate to see if I can make a credible counter case.
 No they're not.

				 Re: Lanka is too strong.
Your suggesting that a high bless benifits Lanka improportionally well?
Isn't Lanka very susceptible to battle magic due to their high cost and low armor? and archers? And they have supply problems where their gluttons get diseased and don't heal?

I guess the problem is strong units + strong blood magic. Not an expert on Lanka by any means though.

They have good magic access, great researchers, good blood hunters, strong military, great sacreds and very powerful national summons. |

				 Re: Lanka is too strong.
Certainly no-one would argue that Lanka is too weak.
They might be too strong on paper, or according to some theoretical or conceptual model you might have. However, I have yet to see Lanka really dominant in MP (unlike, say, Niefelheim.)

Lanka appears to be better than Niefelheim - their sacreds aren't as huge, but they're clearly a better deal per $, and you can buy them anywhere. Lanka's magic is approximately equal to Niefelheim's magic - Air instead of Water, and no astral.

Nonetheless, Lanka does not dominate like Niefelheim does.

				 Re: Lanka is too strong.
Yeah, I haven't played Lanka extensively, but the times I did what I ran into that kept them from being overpowered was the opportunity cost of things. They've got a lot of great stuff, but it's all so expensive that you have to choose which path to specialize in, trying to do it all and you just can't do any of it well.
These are all, to a certain extent, mutually exclusive:
 Lots of tough sacreds
 Strong blood hunting
 Lots of strong mages
 Reanimating hoards of undead

Lank is very versatile, but what out of that list doesn't somebody else do at least as well? What's a killer strategy with Lanka that makes them overpowered?

				 Re: Lanka is too strong.
Maybe not early game but i would say they have a much stronger late game(their national blood summons being better SCs than jarls ect) than their giant rivals. |
