Re: Tempest - Early Era, Random Nations (Signup)
gee,
Shall the sad custudion of the embers of Abysis send their lovely young blood slaves (all 250) to the evil and ugly, every ugly, Marveni who even know are wrecking our land or will someone else get immediate delivery of the last vestige of our wealth?
Indeed, Baalz and Mictlan they are on their way; use them in good health!

So, guess it's time to take down Ulm's global, since Forge is certainly one of the "kill on site" ones. Helheim will happily donate some pearls to the cause.

Re: Tempest - Early Era, Random Nations (Signup)
I'll be on buisness travel from Apr 23 to Apr 26. I don't know if I'll have internet access during this time.
Can the game be put on hold during this time? If the delay is to long, a substitute is acceptable.
Thanks

Hah! Having other people do your dirty work eh?
In that case I'll be happily to donate pearls to anyone that wants to take down Helheim's global... Helheim that has almost 2x as much research and a higher gem income than me....

Forge + warrior smith + hammer = 90% cost recuction. I think tha's worth a little more than 20 gems a turn...

Look at you... a propaganda machine feeding everyone bad numbers!
Actually it's only %75. A 40 gem item now only costs me 10 gems to forge as opposed to my previous 20 (40 * .5(forge) *.5(D.Hammer+smith) = 10). So in reality, forge is only saving me %25 of base cost of an item. That assumes I use a Smith to make the item and that I have a hammer of course.
I'll be hard pressed to save more than 20 gems a turn (after the initial forging bonanza that is). Actually Ulm gets the LEAST benefit from the Forge bonus compared to any other nation due to the fact that forge bonuses don't stack.
You on the other hand can use your 20 gems on whatever you want, including rituals. You get your gems without the investment of forgers which could be researching. But then you don't need to do much researching do you "Mr. Has the most Research by Far".

Ah, my mistake, "Only" 75% it is. Having a hammer isn't so tough when they cost all of 3 gems to make though...

It would appear that Folket is going to miss another host (2nd). Not sure what is up with him as he has a good position here. I'll give him until tomorrow night before I start looking for a replacement...

Actually, Folket put up a thread where he's looking for a replacement here.
As you can see, I'm one of the people wanting to take his place in this game in particular. ;p
