*snort*
The game 'Jagged Alliance 2' had a silly approach to this problem... if memory serves, should the player's mercenaries be customers in San Mona's bordello, the game played a short soundtrack accompanied a full-screen, winking smiley.

Hmm. What are 'Dark, fire, cold power'? Stat bonuses gained under those conditions?

Re: *snort*
Some units (Fiends of darkness among others) gets +1 att etc during darkness. I thought it would be better if you could se that without having to cast darkness and then inspect the stats of the unit.
Other units get +1 att during heat (lava warrior IIRC) or cold.

It seems like most, if not all, demons have raised stats during Darkness. Maybe the spell description should be extended to illustrate this. So far it only says that Darkness has no effect on undeads.

Re: *snort*
With the icon i think it will be quite obvious if a unit has darkness bonus. More obvious in fact than if it says in the text.
I think the icon is quite nice.

Ooh, carrot! *munch, munch*
Not a big problem, really.
The way OpenOffice handles any column addition changes is that it'll automatically adjust the formulas, so all I need to do is add the columns, check the units and then copy the formulas from some column and adjust a couple of things for things to show correctly, so while it will be a bit of a headache, it's not going to be a major one. It'll just be part and parcel of the DB update for the next patch when it comes out. But I couldn't resist making the above post.

I would like to encourage Kristoffer O:
You invented the best strategy game ever created. Keep building on your legacy! Raise the bar even higher, so the next game creator knows the best he can hope for is 2nd place.

Re: *snort*
I have a suggestion for you K O. I think a battlefield wide spell which makes all old units young again (temporarily) would be interesting. It would work rather nicely with old guard units like the Triarii.
Obviously it wouldn't be very high level or require gems to cast. Probably nature or water or astral.
