Some Questions
I have some questions.
1. When the Pebble Skin Suit changes a mage into a troll, what happens then, does he just change his unit type into a troll, or does he also loose some magic?
2. When i understand the Stonesword correctly its able to kill its wielder. But stonebeeings are immune to it, so which chassis should i use for a stonesword thug/SC?
3. How is the path distribution of Kitsunes (Jomon national summun) i got one with N4S2 and others with just N3?1 so i suspect that he has at least 2 50% randoms, does someone know how the real thing works?
4. Melancholia has a chance that enemy soldiers desert, is this chance high enough that it would make sense to spam melancholia on enemy armies?
thanks in advance

Re: Some Questions
1. Your mage becomes a troll but retains all magic levels. Essentially you have just got a really hard mage.
2. Gargoyle to name one.

Re: Some Questions
4. It really depends on your earth gem income. If you have more gems than you know what to do with then it can be worth spamming. But Melancholia is generally better for reducing dominion and increasing sloth in enemy territory. According to the manual, the chance of desertion is based on failing two DRN rolls. One DRN must exceed morale and another DRN+9 must exceed DRN+MR.
The ideal setting for using it is if an enemy army is marching from the interior of his territory to the front line. Each turn he moves into a new province you turn it into sloth 3, and some of his men desert.

Re: Some Questions
3. A Kitsune is:
3N
50% AWES
50% AWES
50% AWES
25% AWEN
Please see the sig in any of Edi's posts, his wonderful DB has the stats on all units.

Re: Some Questions
Somehow i forgot to look in the manual first :/
So the chance that melancholia makes a 10 morale 10 mr unit rout is about
DRN > 10 (morale) = 21,3%
DRN + 9 > DRN + 10 (MR) = 38%
chance of winning both = 0.213 * 0.38 = 0.0809 --> about 8%
For better units it goes fast down --> 12 morale 12 mr
DRN > 12 = 12,73%
DRN + 9 > DRN + 12 = 24%
0.1273 * 0.24 = 0.0305 --> 3%
seems still fun to spam on an enemy army.
