So shroud, plus ring regen, plus hydra armor all give regen.

You can also add a Ring of Lycanthropy for more regen if you don't mind being beserk.

Also I'm wondering how strong the Fire Shield from the Charcoal Shield is. My guess is that if you have a decent level in fire magic, you will probably get a stronger Fire Shield by casting it yourself.
