Although I don't understand how had you managed to miss 3 turns (I just looked at my mail, all the turns were done before the time-out), I think you should wait with switching to AI.

3 turns in the beginning are not deadly at all, actually, your losses're equal to 1 random bad event (btw, I've already had one in that game ). And as for R'lyeh — it's very risky to siege someone's capital at the first turns.

So, maybe others have some small edge atm, but everything may change, cause diplomacy is allowed in this game.

Deonmag, don't despair - as alhorro said, the game has just started and over time you may make up for the lost turns and more.
