Xrati: What sort of router are you using? On most, you can put the address of the router into you browser's address bar to access the router's configuration options. On my Linksys, the IP address used by the router, along with basic DHCP settings are on the first page that comes up.

Like if you hold the shift key down too long in XP.
A couple of times, something has messed up character display in Open Office a bit.

Go into the control panel and type "sticky keys" in the search box. Select "change how your keyboard works" from the results. Make sure everything is turned off.
