Default Problems with TCP/IP games

I have a slight problem with TCP/IP games - When someone with multiple computers connected to the same internet connection via a router attempts to connect to games, it shows them as "Connected" on the host.

However, their client shows "Could not Establish Connection".

Is there some way of remedying this?

Is there a way to add/subtract players in a tcp/ip game. I am playing one over a LAN and it works great most of the time. But in reestablishing a ongoing game there is a little grey area. CAn anyone help?

In TCP/IP Games, the UDP Messages are sent on Port 6716, and file
streams are sent on Port 6720.
Make sure the persons router is not blocking these ports. A lot of times ports will be blocked by default unless you specifically set the router to pass them somewhere in the router config. If you aren't sure how to do this, you will need to find a manual for the router or contact your ISP. Most routers for DSL home use don't come with a detailed Users guide, but you should be able to get one from the particular manufacturers website.
