Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]
Ahhh, for some reason I had thought Midgard was topping that chart, like all the others, I see it IS Bogarus who is vying for top research with Caelum.
In other news, EA C'tis (I typoed 'EZ', hi Freud), bent over and spread 'em for Midgard's forces - leaving his 30-ish mages in the center to receive Thunder Strikes, and unscripted, allowing the invading force with a simple task of crowd control, rather than a real fight.

Re: Preponderance - Big Team Game! [starting!]
You seriously need to get a hobby, this obsession about our nation is borderline insane. Granted, us skinshifters are hairy and manly in ways the Monkees can only dream about, but still. And haven't put a single point of research into pansy Construction, it's all about kicking butts and taking names this time around!
And I'd never call EA C'tis's actions "bending over", he along his teammate has done best they could against Midgård and never gave up, unlike some much more experienced players around. My respect for EA C'tis / LA Marignon team!

I was not commenting on the rest of the war. I can hardly imagine anyone looking at the fight for EA C'tis' capital, and claiming that those mages had been deliberately placed in a giant pile, and scripted to cast Mossbody, and other buffs, in a seamingly totally random fashion.
My only point was, that with the amount of damage that the few Leaching Darkness' did to your Skinshifters, those mages could possibly have ruined your army, had they been placed and scripted for combat.
And why should I not be obsessed with your nation? Here in the East, we've never seen such glorious machismo as the rugged norsemen who seem to be poised to rule this crazy world.
And where is your partner's little Ice Devil? I wasn't done playing with it.

*shrug* Ifs and shoulds, had my mages followed their scripts my fight would've been even faster, but apparently they decided opposing 30 mages isn't worthy situation for spending gems. You're just grumpy that other people didn't do your fighting for you and I've still got an army to meet yours.
And sorry to hear that ID dumped you. Guess it just wasn't entertaining enough for it.

Ummm, not a matter of who kills what - but the necessity of attrition when dealing with someone so much larger than oneself. If you conquer 2 other nations with lower losses than can be expected, and vastly exceed my disposable income, and Blood Hunting opportunities, the least I can hope for is at least a temporary loss of combat viability, or god forbid, an actual setback to your conquest.
Oh and just to clarify, placing and scripting unsupported mages, is a pretty large "if and should".

30 unplaced unscripted mages is definitely something worth complaining about you'd think a game where two people are responsible for every .2h file there would be a lot less stales/ai's but this game has actually had more ai/stales than any game i've been in yet

As Bogarus has new player I will grant them additional 24h, so they can talk to each other etc.

That's annoying. I keep not fighting Pythium's army.
