Mod idea images stash

Here's a whole load of images i collected from various games that i thought might make for good mods. Ships, portraits, backgrounds, even a few FX are included. I tried to keep the original game's name in the image's filename, so I'd know what games to credit. Maybe this'll insire someone to do a new mod

nice idea 2 light a fire under those creative peeps out there.. I still check in here almost weekly for new WW mods

Excellent work on 'Expeditions' btw. Nicely balanced gameplay & great looking. Played bout' 10 large map games with no bugs or crashes

Gratuitous Space Battles has lots of easily re-useable ships, turrets, and items

4 races, each w. ~10 ship classes, plus unique turrets for each race, and a slew of items/upgrades. Download the demo and check it out.

This is all nice! I hope someone has the fire to bake a new mod or upgrade an old one...
I also hope that the Great Makers will pop up a sequel or something.

While there has never been any actual talk about another sequel the Infinite Space universe is a favorite of Digital Eel, so revisiting this game would probably be more likely than others. But again, no talk of anything happening on that front at the moment.
