				 Megagame 2009
 No megagame this year?
I guess all those who organized the megagames (Velusion, Xietor) have dropped out. Would have been nice to see another one.

And no, I won't organize it, unless 7 vets ask me to do so. Mega game organizers seem to have a habit of quitting the game, which I do not wish to do.

Every year has to have a mega game. Maybe Xietor might make a comeback? |

Xietor's just taken a bit of time off to do some sports and so forth. He said he might be around again in the summer once it gets too hot. I think him and Velusion have done their bit though, by organising the last two megagames, so it's only fair someone else should do it this year.
Lingchih - if I count as a vet, I hereby ask you to organise it. 6 to go.

 | What is this megagame thing?

The planned third installment in the Noobs vs Vets series will be a rather largish team game, is the megagame a team game as well?

Will it be open to us noobs? |

				 Re: Megagame 2009
A megagame is all the nations in one singe game, so that's what? about 70 or so?It's not a team game, but you'll be foolish if you don't make any alliances in a game of that scale.
I missed it the last time due to traveling but I'm here for this one (if it get's organized).

				 Re: Megagame 2009
For reference:Perpetuality, the first megagame ever.
Kingmaker, the first megagame to ever finish in a victory.
Careful though, those games can burn people out. I didn't play dominions for months after Perpetuality finished. Guess DrP did me a favour by attacking me in Kingmaker since at least I didn't suffer from burnout again.

And got to kill Niefel Jarls with Markatas. |

				 Re: Megagame 2009
I vote against it. Because I know that if it is created I won't be able to resist playing it. At least Armageddon spam in Kingmaker reduced late game micro... [and it should be somehow banned in next megagame, I guess]. |
