... I archer bait with indie commanders, they work just fine.

I generally build fortresses until i can't buy another bakemono sorceror in a turn, so the additional fortress isn't worthwhile. So yes, i do in fact plan on buying 1 bakemono sorceror per turn per fortress every turn, barring other demands.
