Re: Warcry - new semi-rand game :)
Massive? I wouldn't say massive. We only have like ten-twelve thousand skeletons and couple of dozen of tartarians or so. And we don't have any useful globals up either!

Well, the score graphs show you topped out with over 32,000 troops. Yeah, you've got 10-12 thousand on me (minus a few from that last storming), but I assume you must have a lot more in reserve.
But yeah, Ermor can probably not win. You move too slowly, and seem reluctant to take the battle to the caps you need to gain a win. Jotun is in a good position to win, needing only one more VP. But actually, I'll put my money on Atlantis. He's got the forge, and no enemies.
Sieging my cap would possibly get you another VP, but would be quite costly, and would even perhaps fail, since I have mages of all disciplines in there, along with the maenad hordes I have previously faced you with. Even if you take my cap, I also own the former Caelum cap. It will take you years to march up and siege that VP. The game will surely be over by then, won by whoever.
Sorry, I don't mean to be a spoiler. I'm just stating what I see for the game. I never thought I would win as Pan, I just wanted to hang in there until the end, which it looks like I will do.

Re: Warcry - new semi-rand game :)
OK, I finally just watched the last storm on me. I had to move it to my Macbook Pro, since my PC could not play it back. I had left minor forces in place to defend. And they did quite well.
I would doubt, at this point, that Ermor can take my cap.
And, off topic... Is Ermor totally broken? The expanding battlefield seems to me so.

I doubt it too, at least with just skeletons and thaumaturgs. And that is the reason why I'm reluctant to move onwards fast. You are correct on that I'm not in the best position to win at the moment, but as jotun decided to cancel our nap, maybe I can wreak some havoc...
And freespawn certainly does have it's problems, if battlefield wide spells could actually affect the whole battlefield, it wouldn't be broken.

Re: Warcry - new semi-rand game :)
I would say Atlantis is the winner unless we all kiss and make up and invade Atlantis He has the forge for too long already. I bet he has all sorts of teleporting nasties by now. The closest Atlantis victory point to any army we have of significant size is the underwater Atlantis capital, and there's no way we can take that. So I guess we'll all just have to wait for Atlantis to finish forging stuff for his 200 Frog SCs and come take our victory points.

Re: Warcry - new semi-rand game :)
Or then you could divert your forces to him instead of me, oh poor little Ermor. The forge has been on for quite a while and we can't really do much about it.
Anyway, isn't army size counted from unit sizes and not unit amount? Skeletons are size2 and skel cavalry are size 3, so 30k army size equals to about 13k-14k units or so. The biggest stack of mine had 10113 undead and 284 normal troops last turn when jotun peeked at it before the storm on that fort.
Also, this picture is the army in question, just having won the fight with a few hundred skeletons lost.

Atlantis as the main threat? lol. one nation is just 1 vp away from victory, and the other has 16k undead sitting around plus plenty of healed tartarians. yeah the fishmen have a forge. but other than that..... we're short.

Re: Warcry - new semi-rand game :)
But you have recruitable SC chassis, so you don't really need much more than forge
Either way, I'm not fighting you. I've got my hands full trying to think what to do with Pan and Jotun...

Ahh, thanks Quitti, never realized army size was based on size, not unit amount.
And, that's such a scary picture
