Helo issue
Are you not allowed to load a sniper onto a helo? In editor, I purchased a sniper but am unable to load it onto a helo. Is it me or a game problem?

Re: Helo issue
Hi,
Have you checked the carry capacity of the helo?

Warwick,
Scenereo is as such: date, 2010; formation, #41, sniper #110; lift helo # 43, UH-60 Blackhawk #295, lift capacity 214.

Re: Helo issue
Well, theoretically you should be able to lift a sniper with a Blackhawk. I assume that this is a generated scenario? Has anyone else got any ideas? (I don't have any experience with the scenario editor.)

Re: Helo issue
Correct. This is a generated scenerio. In fact, I am unable to pick up a purchased "sniper" in any generated scenerio. Was why I was wandering if this is a bug.

Re: Helo issue
Its you Did not say side units apply to but assuming helo has lift capacity & is not full can load snipers no restriction.
As a thought to load it has to land & cant do that in a woods or building hex so if hes in either of those then he cant get on board till he moves to a hex it can land in.

Re: Helo issue
Have solved my problem, yet found another. The problem was me. The other problem was the tutorial. I played it again and found a flaw. The instructions for loading a unit, call for moving the unit into same hex as unit to be loaded onto, pressing L, then clicking onunit to load onto. In my tutorial, I did not do that. When I move the unit to load into same hex as unit to be loaded onto (the Bradleys), all I have to do is hit L. I do not have to click on the Bradley. I just carried this habit into the editor. My mistake. I should have read the instructions better. The flaw in the tutorial does not hurt me. Rest of game plays as it should. Thanks for help.

Re: Helo issue
Could be he's cunfusing set-up rules (where you can load units not in the same hex) with the ingame rules.
Ingame they have to be in the same hex,and helo's will automatically land after loading first unit.

Think you will find thats you again you did select the Bradleys, if you do not select the other unit game sits waiting for you to select it or cancel.
Try it the tutorial works just the same as any battle/scenerio it just happens to mention its good as a tutorial.
The only exception is using the load all button in deploy phase or the editor.
