Re: Re-Vendetta
Could we extend the hosting period to 48 hours? I'm having trouble with the 24 hour deadlines.

Re: Re-Vendetta
I wouldn't mind 48 hours either (although I guess my opinion won't matter for long^^)

Re: Re-Vendetta
Well, that didn't work as expected. Any idea why my bane lords didn't participate in the communion? I guess you have to have some magic paths in order to benefit?

Re: Re-Vendetta
Must be, I haven't messed around with matrixes very much but I think that is the case. Regardless, your banes lords would have done more damage had it worked, but it would almost certainly have still auto-routed given that at the end they were just slashing away at undead and phantasms.
Anyway, great battle! Talk about fatigue! Quagmire, grip of winter, two rigor-mortiss'...thankfully a lot of my infantry passed out and didn't reach your banes in the end. I had to sacrifice some lizards and undead, but I've been looking to streamline my forces anyway.

Re: Re-Vendetta
Interesting, so matrix on a pathless unit doesn't work? It didn't receive self buffs from master's casting? That's... good to know. Wonder if priest path only casters can join in and receive the benefits?

Re: Re-Vendetta
Jotunheim brings good news to all peaceful nations of the world! The streamlining of C'tis's armies continues. Almost every soldier they sent north to trespass upon the sacred mountains of Jotunheim has been killed. Or more accurately, has been killed, then immediately re-animated, and then immediately burnt to a cinder. Even better, the C'tisian empire is being right-sized, and their inventory of artifacts is being reduced to cut down on warehousing costs. I expect that within a few months, their false-God (a mere green dragon in reality) will step down from his position in order to spend more time with his family.
Oh, and for those of you at Constr 8, the Sword of Auglmar, the Ankh, the Tome of Gaia, and few other artifacts are now back on the market.

Re: Re-Vendetta
To the nations of the world! The mighty armies of Ctis have been dealt a decisive blow! "Deathbringer, the SC" (really an enchantress with a stupid name) has summoned strange all-powerful creatures known as "Shishis" in astounding numbers to rain lightning on our armies and savage our lands!
It is all but lost for C'tis!
Unless the nations of the world unite now (end your petty bickering) and fight the giants then I'm afraid we shall all go go the way of Eiru and Man,

Re: Re-Vendetta
How dare you sir! How dare you! The SC name has been passed down through generations in my family, dating all the way back to my great great great great great grandfather, who was a great Kraken. The Deathbringer name comes from my mother's side of the family of course.
And Jotunheim is a land of peaceful giants, the manatees of the land. We abhor useless violence, and as we have done many times before we offer peace to your nation and any others that would accept it. As for Eriu and Man, the former decided on an aggressive dominion push against us (temples in every province, look at their Dominion graph!), while the latter was unfortunately too tasty to live.
