				 Quick question: Zmey
So I was just wondering: Are the Bogarus national summon and the EDM summon the same Zmey? or is the EDM version scaled up on the Bogarus one?
 Cheers folks.

				 Re: Quick question: Zmey
They are different summons, both based on a creature from a Russian myth. Ironically, EDM says that these big Zmey "have lent their name to the lesser drakes of Rus", while it's clearly vice versa. |

I see. Are the EDM ones actually smaller then? they are like 3 times the price, one level of conjuration higher and more fire skillz to summon, I'd assume they would be bigger...
do they both do the die = loose a head thing?

I think that's vice versa in the sense that the larger EDM version was based on the weaker Bogarus ones. |

Yes. Vice versa in the sense that Zmey is a Russian word. |

				 Re: Quick question: Zmey
Well in real life EDM's Zmey is named after the other, but in the gameworld it's the other way round. And flavour text describes the gameworld. |

				 Re: Quick question: Zmey
 Sure.
But Zmey of Rus has a Russian name, which is fitting. International Zmey having a Russian name is not so fitting. And it's not some unique proper name either, it's just a normal word.
Not that it's of any importance, of course. |

				 Re: Quick question: Zmey
Actually I found the zmey while researching mythological creatures, and was then very annoyed to discover it was already in the game as a Bogarus national summon! The EDM zmey is based directly on the mythology and not on the Bogarus summon.
The EDM version is much larger and more powerful.
