edit: though I assume you didn't mass them because they are not nearly as useful against ermor.

To be quite honest with you, by the time you massed to attack me I was beginning my transition to a blood economy (without the research mind... that was all focused on getting to evocation 6 for Iron Blizzard, next up was blood once I had all of my counts harvesting blood slaves) and was running short on funds. I can produce a lot of rangers in an extremely short period with production 3, but when you attacked funds wise it was a choice between recruiting my one iron priest a turn per fortress (important for my planned iron blizzard spam)+max producing my undead guardians (whose black halberds were important for killing your blessed units) or going with a raiding force of rangers. Since all I really wanted to do was hold you off and then wear you down through attrition (which I thought I could do between iron blizzard and that huge army you destroyed at the outset)I decided to go the more conventional path. I just didn't have enough depth to fall back on, and was about three turns too late in researching.
Very well played though. I'll fight to the last!
