Re: Noobs are gone frenzY - Late Age - (Running)
ok so DarkAvenger211 came, did his 2 turns, and left without giving any answer to our questions about is stalling at turn 3 (even those trough PM).
I think this behavior is unacceptable and unreliable for a long term game.
I can easily understand we can need a delay even for few days, but the minimum is to ask for it before and if u didn t get the time to do so at least tell us why u were late.
Therefore i ll try to find a sub and if none shows up i propose to start again the game with a smaller map and 10 players.
The game will be on hold until we have found a sub.
I don't like to make such proposition but in this case, and so early in the game, it sounds deserved to me.
What do you think about it ?

Re: Noobs are gone frenzY - Late Age - (Running)
I would suggest cutting him a little slack.
The player did his second turn right away after submitting the older one, and we all have life to live too... for example I got a day job, a business of my own and a family so interrupting things might just happen to me as well as to any1 of us.
If he didnt ask for delay, it shows he was ok with the idle and for the future reference we should keep up with the schedule unless some1 asks postponing in forehand.
I already know I need to do it in August anyway.

Re: Noobs are gone frenzY - Late Age - (Running)
Well he played his turn 3 because i was vigilant and postponed the hosting.
The problem isn t the need of a delay as i mentioned above nor even to stall but the lack of communication.
He hasn t answered PM or msg on this forum referring to this early stall. As i said earlier the problem isn't the delay or the stall but his behavior.
To me, such behavior will lead later or sooner to make troubles in the game. So i think it s better to take care of it turn 4 instead of turn 50.
Btw i m maybe too stern that s why i was asking your opinion.
If nobody agree with me i ll put back the hosting to tomorrow evening and at 24h.

I say dont restart ... just keep the game like this. If one does not ask for more time turns are just done normally after 24 hours. if you miss a turn, its your own fault and disadvantage.

Yes, and thats why I gave mine.
I also want to point out that he played turn 4 right away after host went off. And coming back to the behavior, well thats a personal preference... some people act different than others.
Of course your vigilantism is appreciated, but I would say let it slide for now.

I noticed an email saying that hosting was in 6 hours but I thought I had already uploaded. So I just uploaded (And in good time too, I almost missed it)

Ok i will let it slide ... (at least i ve learned a new expression^^)
But a stall turn 3 without any comments while i asked for hardly motivated noobs is quite boring ...
