Re: "Relaxed Pace" Late Age Game
Okay, so now this is some super-strange thing. There was a battle in Holburg this round with Mictlan. In the battle replay, I scatter and rout his army. However, in the results, I am listed as "beaten by a stronger force", and the province now belongs to Mictlan. How is that even possible? If there was a reinforcing enemy army, should not it move in BEFORE the fight? I have no other replay than the one I decisively win. Can Mictlan comment and explain?
If not, I protest and call for an arbitrage from the admin.

The battle report is what actually happened, you hit the replay bug. It sometimes causes the battle replay to show something completely different from what happened.

Yeah, in my replay I won. That bug happens sometimes, it can be caused by having different mods than the server but it can also just happen for no reason.

Re: "Relaxed Pace" Late Age Game
This is a known, if not well-understood, bug. The battle report is all that matters.

Re: "Relaxed Pace" Late Age Game
Well, then I request a video of the battle and screenshots of all the enemy leaders' stats that took part in that battle. Under normal circumstances, I would have that information.
I have never encountered it in vanilla, unmodded game.

Re: "Relaxed Pace" Late Age Game
I believe all of the stats of the units should be correct.
Here is a thread on the subject. It appears that it has something to do with different random numbers in the replay, though the exact cause it not known. Mods are only one possibility.

Re: "Relaxed Pace" Late Age Game
I'm not even sure how I would make a video of the battle and I'm not really seeing why I should since it's a well known bug. The troops didn't rout because I moved two priests from an adjacent province into the province where the battle took place. They were scripted to bless, so the jaguar warriors beat your troops.

Hey guys, just letting everyone know that I plan on going camping a month from now, on August 20th, for 6 or 7 days. If need be, I'll find a sub for that period.

I don't really care if it's "understood" or not, it should not happen. Under normal circumstances, I should see a proper replay of what happened in that battle. Information is quite important in this game. I see your priests, and they cast bless, but they are quickly overrun by my cav, resulting in mass rout.
If you don't "see" why you should, than there is something wrong with your sense of fair play. I am entitled to have this information under fair condition and to comenpensate this unfortunate bug, you should make every effort to bring the situation to the normal, fair state. As to the means of how, you can use Fraps, for example. Please postpone until I obtain this material.
