Re: MA Mod Nation Combined Game - Testing Grounds - Running
Huh, for some reason I though the game hosted tonight, which I found weird, so I postponed it.
Anyway, don Pablo, do you have any idea how that Adept of the Iron Order got 800 kills in that battle? I watched it a few times and he only casts paralyze. Figure it's a replay bug probably.

Re: MA Mod Nation Combined Game - Testing Grounds - Running
We might have to do something about Al Nadim. He staled the last turn and he doesn't seem to be here.
If he doesn't turn up soon I'll try to find a sub.

I don't like to give information in a non graph game. But he is almost finished. I think that's the reason he's not motivated any more.

Yes, I know. It may be best to just put him to AI even.

Hi. I will be taking on the doomed cause of Al-Nadim. There's enough left that I think it's worth playing a few more turns. I can't promise that I'll spend huge amounts of time working on turns but it will definitely be better than setting the nation AI.

Thanks again for stepping in Valerius, any amount of effort is much better than an AI controlled nation.
Postponed by 12 hours. Let me know if you need more time, I'll probably be keeping an eye for you regardless.

Re: MA Mod Nation Combined Game - Testing Grounds - Running
I'm not sure what to think of the recent developments in this game.
I understand that when someone goes awol in a game and is set to A.I. this will give massive advantage for the one(s) playing against him/her.
But what transpired here is the exact opposite of the spectrum.
Not only is a player against whom I was easily winning replaced by a veteran but also my two enemies go from no cooperation to pre-planned battle tactics.
And on top of that, Shangri-La is set to A.I..
Valerius, I think it's wonderful you could sub for one of the players that has left. Against the previous player I would have stand a good chance to win, gain equality with Hadai and remain winning chances, but I can never win against you both and might as well resign and congratulate Executor with his win.

Re: MA Mod Nation Combined Game - Testing Grounds - Running
Valerius offered to set Al Nadim AI, he also offered to maybe play out some turns depending on the situation, naturally I took him up on his offer.
Also, I am not cooperating with Valerius in any way. We have not exchanged any words regarding this game expect the transferring of the nation to him.
Shangri La has in fact gone AI this turn, but as you can see all his forts are conquered and almost all forces killed. In fact he has a single province left with only several stranded mages and a lone Grendelkin. He couldn't do any more harm either way. He was effectively killed a few turns back when he lost his capital.
I enjoy winning (or losing) my games solely on my skill. I scarcely do diplomacy and I never plan or set in motion joint attacks, also, I would not like to win any game on some technicality since that would take away the pleasure of winning from me so, please, GFSnl, if you feel cheated here for some reason or wronged in any way, I'd be happy to hear any and all your suggestions. I would even kindly ask Valerius to turn Al Nadim AI even.
