Arco seems to be doing it tough at the moment. Although they are researching like mad. Be interested to see where this goes for them. |

They lost their starting army to indies. Tough, but it happens. Odd that they didn't take an awake pretender. Philoscephale is kind of hard to do without one. |

Yeah, that bites when it happens.
I've not yet played Arco for some reason, maybe I can take them for a whirl next game I play. They sound like good fun, if perhaps a bit tricky at first.

What, are those lazy Greeks at it again? Man, we're so glad we weren't part of the European Union. So glad we didn't have to subsidize them.
May the offspring of ten thousand feral cats descend upon them, for all we care. Oh wai-

  | Speaking as the lazy Italians in this game (Ermor), I would encourage you to stop sending your money to those darned Greeks and instead start sending it to me |

Lazy more like smoking pine resin.
Arco is an insanely powerful communion nation, but quite boring once you master the whole communion aspect. It's a one track nation, hard to do more than one thing with. (That thing being mystic communions).

 | That's not strictly true. Oreiads can be good thugs, and wind riders are good raiders that you could (though I wouldn't) use a bless with. And I personally love big communions, so that never get's boring for me. Hmm, why didn't I chose Acro...
Though I do agree that mage-wise, they can't do too much outside of communions (Oreiads can drop wind and nature buffs and evocations, at least). But diverse path picks on the mystics mean that at least you have options in the communions. |

Arco also has chariots and resource cheap slingers; taking on indies early on shouldn't be hard for them. |

Is it just me or do we have provinces that potentially border +-3 capitols at once due to sea lanes? |

Also, Forest ladies aren't just good thugs. They're really SC level. Misform, Personal Regen, earth buffs, Quickness, Frost/Lightning/elemental resistances...Pretty much every good buff that you want, that you can pick and choose which one to script.

Also sneaking seduction, but that's minor. |
