Re: a lEArning experience (Newbie EA CBM1.92) [in progress]
Sorry for staling but I must say I'm quite bored with this sisyfos exercise of chasing each others thugs around switching provs, I hope this stalemate is broken soon one way or the other. It would be interesting to hear how you others feel about the game and how you judge your chances. Myself I'm not sure, it's a mess trying to evaluate this game.

No worries. We are used to stales, people disappearing, etc. As far as judging chances I see Agartha and Pangaea having the best chance with myself and Niefel in the 2nd tier. Of course I could be wrong on that.
I should have a final decisive war with Atlantis soon to finish him off then I'll probably enter the fray more with ya'll. I think if Niefel and I join in, it will speed things up a bit.

Re: a lEArning experience (Newbie EA CBM1.92) [in progress]
I feel like I'm desperately plugging holes in a levee with all my fingers and toes while the tide behind keeps rising. It's funny that in the current circumstances, black harpies and centaur hierophants can hold off artifact-kitted tartarians by using Flavian tactics. Maybe not hold off so much as make them run in circles. Then there's blood saccing plus vampires which is simply awesome defensively and all that's keeping Fantomen from rolling right over my homelands.
But it definitely feels like the levee is about to go, especially with the water queens deployed I won't be able to raid the sea anymore, and those poison golems look like dedicated vampire killers.
So long-term, I don't like my chances much, although I don't know how much of an impact it would have if Niefel and Helheim joined in fully. Might be enough, might not be. If Adam J was still around I'd be more sanguine, but since TC is now AI...
For me it looks like Helheim's position is slightly better than Niefelheims: both are blood nations, but both have death scales and so won't have a lot of slaves. Helheim has a massive research edge though.
All in all it's starting to be a bit of a slog, but I'm reluctant to give up prematurely with victory having been a distinct possibility before Fantomen took charge of the underground menace. Also it's been immensely instructive so far, and I'm loathe to give up on that, too.

Ok, I'll try to put some effort in. If someone reads this post in time I'd like a small extension.

I postponed 24 hours. Yea. Really. Don't try too hard. 10 turns ago I thought was completely done. Now I feel like I have a cockroaches chance during a nuclear war!

I'm going to need 10 hours delay, forgot about the deadline and can't get home in time.

Yea - this is kind of strange, interesting to see a world that spoiled, though I have little chance of winning. Still having fun, though ...
