				 Lychantropos Amulet
How long dose it take to turn into a werewolf? It seems to take a long time.

It seems a waste to make regeneration rings, when you can make a lychantropos amulet for half the price

I think they need to fail an MR check. If so, high MR units are very unlikely to turn, especially with an AM amulet, which you probably gave your thug anyway.
Rings of regen still make sense, though. Lycanthrope's amulet berserks the holder, and is unremovable, so you won't want to give it to any mages.

Tbh, I think nobody really knows, and I suspect some forms cannot change into a skinshifter at all. Not sure. During testing I tried to get a few of the large giant types to transform (and a immobile pretender, an oracle/sphynx/monolith) never transformed. iirc. |

I think lifeless units are immune. |

				 Re: Lychantropos Amulet
I don't count on the werewolf effect when I equip the item on thugs; I give it to them in order to gain cheap regeneration with unbreakable morale- which is very useful on recruitable thug chasis with good items. They're far more likely to flee then they are to die from constant stabbing that just dosen't look to be stopping in the immediate future (you would probably flee under those circumstances as well).
I'm also unsure if they effect works on Giant chasis as well.... the only time I was in a position to try it was when I put the item on Jotun Skarattis in werewolf form...... so even if they "changed form" due to the item, I would probably be unaware of it. If anything it may preclude the transformation?
