Priority for patch?

I am very impressed by the excellent and really abundant suggestions for the further improvement of SE IV in this forum.
When sending these suggestions to MM we should however consider, that they might be just overflowed by the number of e-mails due to their limited staff.
Wouldn't it be reasonable, that we send only the suggestions to MM, that we cannot realize ourselves by modifying the textfiles? I think that would ease their work a lot and speed up the most important hard coded modifications, that we want for the next patches.
There are many people in this forum, who do such an excellent work in modifications in the textfiles (e.g. Mod Pack 1.00 is really fantastic as is the Earth Alliance and the Borg race modification). The modifications, that are accepted most widely, could then be later incorporated in the official SE IV Version by MM.
