Cutting Empire in Half...(Query)
When I cut an empire in half, so there are no warp lines to, say, 10 systems, does the research and production still get counted there? I ask because I know when a link gets severed with, say, an AI and there is no warp line leading to him, you can't "see" him any more and therefore can't get trade and research from him.
But what does it do to an empire if it's physically cut in half?
